This gives you a straight shot from the sat input to the receiver. It removes the power plate, if that is what that plate is and according to the schematic it is.
Update!!! I took the cable off back of plate attached it right to sat receiver, hooked dish to sat connection in wet bay....didn't work.
So I switched sat dish to Aux connection in wet bay.....it worked!!
Then looking at the wall plate, it is just straight through, not connected to power on the plate, so I put cable back on behind the plate and a cable on front side of plate to sat receiver and......it worked!!

No more connecting through the window!!

Thank you for your help!! I'm a happy full time camper now

Glad you found it. Those are frustrating!

So....an update to this! This worked fine until I packed up and moved to another location (I am a full timer and move often). Satellite had clear view, but could not get this "setup" to work! Long story short, I have not been able to get it to work consistently since then. Meaning, I set it up upon arrival, turned on TV and it worked, then turned it off. That night turned on TV, wouldn't work!
I don't know what the deal is and why it only sometimes works.
Would love to not have this cable through the window!
