Solar Panel Battery Charging Question

I've had two Jayco Fifth-wheels for over the past 8 years, both pre-wired for solar, but have never used a solar panel. So now I'm thinking of trying out the use of a solar panel and controller. My question is does the voltage and amps coming in from the solar panel cause any problems with the trailer's converter when the trailer is hooked up to shore power? Can both the converter and the solar panel function simultaneously without causing damage to one or the other?

I started with 200 watts of solar 4 years ago and have since upgraded to 400 watts. I haven't seen any issues when the converter is on. I have a battery monitoring gauge that I watch ALL THE TIME (I am easily entertained) and when the converter kicks in I often see the voltage rise to its boost level if the batteries aren't fully charged.

My solar controller has a bluetooth function where I can monitor it via a phone app. When the converter is on I see the output from solar drop to nil.

You would think they would conflict but if they do it hasn't caused me a problem. Batteries do not appear to be overcharging.
