Water heater been working fine til today.....adjusted temp to take shower....no matter what temp you set it on.....the temp goes up and down 10-15 degrees without any noticeable change in water flow or pressure.....anyone have a suggestion? Been doing the same all day...no matter what you use hot water for....been at same campground for 6 weeks without a problem.....

I've never had a tankless WH so this is a stab in the dark....

Are you camping where it is cold and the furnace is cycling on and off?

Two possible suggestions flow and or calcification. On demand heaters can be very sensitive to flow issues. Try the shower with the hot sink faucet on. This should increase the flow and reduce cycling. The other issue could be calcium build up this will insulate the temperature control.

A stab in the dark also.
Do you have a water pressure regulator with a gauge?
Is the water hose in the sun? (will make water very hot sometimes).
Have you tried running the water from the fresh water holding tank?

I can see why Jayco no longer offers the on demand water heater as an option.

Just bought unit in oct 18.... this is second trip out....put new filter in before we came to Florida about 6 weeks ago....yes have pressure regulator....shows between 40-45 lbs...but has worked fine when showing only 30-35 lbs at a state park when heading down here.....thought about hose in sun....will shade as much as possible.....it does seem more consistent in the evening than midday....thanks for all comments and suggestions...

Well....it seems to be a volume and pressure problem....it just has been working fine until suddenly it did not....so....if I fill the fresh water tank and use pump....it is good within about 3- 5 degrees hotter than setting....if use Campgrd directly it is anywhere from 10-15 degrees hotter than setting....so I assume the campgrd water pressure/ volume has changed....they did work on it a few days ago....can the temp control be adjusted on the tankless heaters?.....trying to get tech manual downloaded.....

On my North Point there is an adjustable thermostat in the bathroom by the light switches. Not sure where it is on the Pinnacle.

I have heard of people having a problem with a kink in the water line behind the Uni-Dock Utility Center. Also have heard of problems with city water inlet check valve.
Just something to look for.

I have a friend who just had a tankless WH installed and he said it worked great until the propane tank gets low. He said that he changed his propane tank to a full tank and the tankless WH would work great until the propane tank volume got low and it would start fluctuating again. He didn’t mention if he used it on electric or only on propane. I have the 10 gal tank that has a very high temperature that is new and I wonder if it will settle down a bit after some use.

Well....it is definitely a related water volume/pressure problem.....filled the onboard fresh water tank....used the onboard water pump and it works just fine within a degree or two.....so my conclusion is ....not broke yet!....this is our second trip out so still learning the variances ....now if my second a/c would just work.....fan runs...no cold air.....

Thanks to everyone for all their suggestions .....that is what is so good about this forum......
