Thanks! Good luck on your trip. Stay safe out there.

For sure. We’re going through that with a recent Goodyear Endurance blow out. We filed a claim with our insurance to help pay for the damage to the rig. We’ve had multiple failures with Goodyear Endurance tires. It’s getting old, not to mention expensive.

These threads on tires give me heartburn.

Overloaded rigs, under inflated tires, poorly maintained tires, too much sun on tires, tires sitting for months unmoved. What do you expect?

Change the tires every 3-4 years. Keep the pressure where it should be, and that is what ever the plaque on the door post or side post says, not what you think your weight might be. If you want to weigh it fine but if you are going to change the pressure every trip, well good luck!

Sorry people, these threads are worthless when it comes to tires. Go to Discount, get some advice on tires and put those on your rig. They know what they are talking about and everything you hear here is from one set of tires experience.

Sorry!

I’m a fan of Discount (America’s) Tire and ask their advice as part of my due diligence. But a couple of 20-something’s at America’s Tire, who’ve never owned a trailer, may not be as helpful as some of the experienced (and wise) TT owners here. Personally, I’ll gather info from everywhere I can, sift out the chaff, and use what’s left to guide my decisions. And I tend to not read threads that give me heartburn. But that’s just me.

Just replaced my Goodyear 614 with Hancook Vantra Trailer TH31. The Goodyear were great tires but the price is crazy. Discount matched the Walmart price.
