Towing with a Ram 3500 DWR 4x4

Hello just wondering if anyone out there is towing with a Ram 3500 DWR 4x4.Just upgraded from aF250.Realize this Ram sits higher and was concerned about pulling our Eagle Premier REQS 5TH wheel and being level. Purchased a Curt 24k hitch that installed in the pucks.. Am I going to have to modify the truck to get it lower? Stock truck with 17 inch tires. Set the Curt hitch to highest setting and pin box is in its lowest position. Thanks for any help. Waiting for snow to melt to hook to camper.

How many inches high front to back on your fifth wheel?

Anything less than 6” I wouldn’t worry about it. I run 4” high on the front with a Ram 3500 SRW with 18” rubber on the truck.

I think you'll be okay. Our truck is a SRW, but sat level with our previous Eagle. Added airbags when we bought the Pinnacle as there was too much squat for my liking.

For me ground to top of tailgate is 59” and top of hitch to top of bed rails is 4-5”. This is with a B and W Companion on top setting and truck in sig. This gives me 7” clearance. I have not measured camper but it looks very level with the squat when hooked up. I plan to hook up today and will measure.
