Water filter

Just bought a 30.5MBOK. is there (where) a water filter in-line? For winterizing, I’ve found only 2 valves to turn by the water pump. Will that protect the water heater when I run antifreeze through the lines? Appreciate any insight.

Welcome to the forum! There will be bypass valve(s) on the rear of the water heater that need to be positioned, so you're not filling it with 6 gallons of antifreeze. There may be one, two, or three valves depending on how they built your unit. The heater should be bypassed with the valve(s), then drained via the plug at the lower left portion, accessible from the outside access door. Probably a plastic plug. Sorry, but no help on the filter question. Someone that's familiar with yours will post in.

In my case I have a tankless water heater. I haven't found any other bypass than the 2 valves near the water pump.

As far as I know, none of the Eagle HT's or Eagle's come from the factory with a OEM canister water filter. I know our full size Eagle TT didn't. If there is one, they usually are installed in a storage bay underneath (possibly behind a panel, or under the kitchen sink. Those with residential refrigerators in their Eagles (that's us) do have to worry about the water filter in those however.

As a new owner of an Eagle 336, I've had the same question about does it have or where is a water filter. We don't have the res fridge and were wondering if we should get a water filter for the hook-up spigot. Sounds like that could be an advisable option. Thanks.
