What switch controls the outside lights 31.5
I misplaced my remote control and am a new owner of a used 2014 31.5 RLTS Eagle, in setting up my camper at a seasonal site I misplaced my remote control, does anybody know if this is what controls the outside lights under the awning and amber porch light under the steps? They were off for a few weeks but all of a sudden they came on and I have no idea how to shut them off.

until you find the remote you will have to pull the 12 volt fuses on at a time until they go out.

OOh, maybe someone found your remote and turned them on. That would be devilishly fun.

That would not be nice, funny but not nice. I figure in moving some things around in a compartment or maybe even on the ground, I could have bumped something into it, because the lights were on 2 weeks ago, then they were off and this past Saturday I was doing things and all of a sudden I noticed they were on again, so now that I know that it's the remote that controls them, if I really do a thorough search, hopefully I will find it.

I believe you will have a switch that controls those lights as well. Back in 2014 most remotes did not replace the manual light switches but added additional functionality. I can't tell you where it would be located but it is probably there. Also, the amber light under the stairs is usually controlled by a contact switch on the screen door. When the door is open the light is on and the light goes off when the Lorre is closed. It could be the switch is defective.

I found my Remote, it was in the door pocket of my pickup, but the only thing on there for any light is for a porch light, which is usually the one by the door, which my camper doesn't have and when I press it, nothing happens, the lights don't go out or anything else comes on and the remote works because I used it to put my awning back in.

It's behind the small door above counter top where all controls and tank level readout are

Lippert supplies a manual for the remote system. It goes into great detail how to program/reprogram for your particular rcvr. The rcvr is somewhere in your trailer....I found mine behind the microwave. It will have a model number that you can't miss....it will be either a five channel or 8 channel unit. With that number you can download the correct manual and set up your remote as you would like it.

I tried them all with no luck, what is it labeled as, do you know exactly what switch? If I knew exactly, then I could trouble shoot it with my probe. Thanks

Found Remote
I found the remote control in my Pick-up and that doesn't have anything listed on it for the awning lights.

Should be the porch light button.

if you do not have a porch light it is the porch light button. looks like you need to program the remote.

I could try that, but would think that there should be a switch somewhere in the camper that controls it also.

I don't think so because if someone turned it off the remote would be useless. but if there is it would be very near the door.

No, since all of that goes through a controller. The inside switch acts the same as the remote, they function separately. Can OP post a picture of your Control Center

I have the same trailer. I never use the remote as it never operated properly. Nothing in the control panel is labeled. The awning light switch is the large toggle switch, top left.

I will look into it, maybe it's bad, I did try all the switches in the panel, thanks.

That was it, I never thought a rocker switch that returns to center like a slide out switch, would control any lights, thank you very much for solving this problem for me and everyone else that tried tp help. You would think that something as simple as marking a switch would be overlooked by the factory.
