Follow-up report. After much deliberation and PROCRASTINATION today my wife went out to close the opposite slide (another storm passing thru later today). By mistake she hit the wrong button ... and it worked. Note: I haven't verified her report.

Just last evening it wouldn't work for me.

Any chance she was right and you were wrong?

1. The wife is always right.
2. The husband is always wrong.
3. If still unresolved refer to #1 above.

Today I verified, the second slide is working, but now its got me wondering??? When I initially opened up the camper I extended one slide, then found the opposite one wouldn't open. When I went outside I observed that I had failed to first put the rear stabilizing feet down/ located directly behind these two slides. Hoping it might be the fifth simple flexed I put them down and tried it again. No go.

So two weeks later - after questioning her, she says she first retracted the extended one before trying the other, and found that it now worked.

Now I'm wondering, was it maybe flex in the frame? and by retracting the opposite side the fifth became unflexed which allowed it to again operate? I think tomorrow I better go reset both feet for correct weight balance while both slides are closed.

Another followup: after being closed for two days (due to wet weather) I returned and repositioned the two stab. feet. Then I opened up both slides - without any problems. Camper remains open (door, windows, ceiling vents, slides) for airing out.

Tonight is our first cold night of the season, currently at 47 degrees (a first for us) but predicted to drop to the 30's tonight. I might better drain the water lines and open all faucets soon.

I hate cold weather.
