Which 5th wheel to get?

I have been looking at the 355 MBQS and the 357 MBOK. I can’t decide which one I like better. Can anyone tell me the good and bad on these? This will be my first Jayco purchase, I currently have a Keystone.

Welcome to the Forum!

When we were looking at trailers, and there were more than one we considered, we spent some time inside each of them as if we owned it, checking the storage, where we were going to store our stuff, how things were set up like seating, the kitchen, if we were going to be in each others way more in one than the other. It took some going back and forth between them, but ended up getting the one that had only one feature that was a compromise. We told the salesman that we were going to buy a trailer that day, and to humor us. He understood completely, and left us alone to do our thing.

MBQS has more kitchen storage and booth dinette option, MBOK has more bunk room storage and outside kitchen. We like the MBQS but that's the essence of your decision. Both are half a mile long and heavy.

Thanks. I went with the 357 MBOK because of the layout of the rear living. I will pick it up next Tuesday.

We went with the 355, also. We figure if the kids or guests are with us we can open that room out and if they are not, we can keep it closed. It does have more of an open living and kitchen area feel with the 355 layout, but there are trade-offs either way. The 357 has a bigger outdoor kitchen and has the little wet bar.

We debated between these two models also....we chose the 357 for the additional bunk room storage and the bigger outside kitchen along with the wet bar area.

I like the 355, having the door into the mid bunk in the hallway instead of the kitchen makes much more sense to me, that front kitchen wall has a ton of useful kitchen storage in the 355.

Congrats! Both are really nice campers. Like others said, spend sometime without a sales guy bothering you in the campers. So many floor plans for different people.

Anyways I think you are going to love your Jayco coming from Keystone. Jayco makes a great product. Plus we have a really good community of people here on this forum.
