6 volt house batteries std on Seneca

I went out to check the batteries on my 2019 Seneca and was surprised to see the house batteries are 6 volt. I knew they were AGM when I purchased the RV but I didn’t know they were 6 volt. They are Harris HBDAGMGC6-A batteries to be specific.

There are a total of 4 batteries, two in series and that pair in parallel. that gives you 12 volts with a ton of amp hours. On my previous rigs, I always replace my house batteries with AGM batteries designed for golf carts. I have found they give me the best performance. My Seneca had brand-new wet cell 6 volts when I purchased it and so I have not yet had to replace them.
