External noises/Interior quiet

Not having units anywhere near me means I get to ask questions as I gather info. So pardon the ton of uninformed asks.

We all know RV parks can be noisy. Vehicle noise, trains, neighbors. In general how much of that comes into your coach when you want peace and quiet?

From some YouTube vids it appears sound blocking is pretty good. But I'm comparing these against Dutch Star, Allegro Bus and Aspire Class A (all the 40' floor plans).

We like our peace and quiet. How do these coaches do with that?

Really depends on the situation. In hot or cold weather we rely on ac or heat pumps. With those units running we don’t hear a thing. When traveling and using truck stops we are running our generator and ac so again even trucks pulling out around us are not noticed. If the weather is right we sleep with the windows next to bed open and run the bath exhaust fan to create air flow, that is really the only time we hear others and if it got to bad I would close the windows and use the rv ac fan. I often wake up and find the people around us have packed up and we never heard a thing.

As well as the individuals in the rig.

Case in point: This morning DW said did you hear that loud clap of thunder at 12:30 last night? My response, "NOPE"..

As well as your rig. Some have good insulation and some don't.

If your just looking at campers now, I would go to a dealer, and sit inside and ask the salesperson to talk outside while your inside.

It is a little quieter in regards to outside noises compared to our previous unit a Tiffin Open Road since our Accolade has double pane windows and Tiffin only has 1/4” thick single pane. However it’s noisier inside due to the A/C units are exposed on the inside and the furnace is louder. Overall tho we like how the Accolade is in regards to noise.
