inverter

I just perchased a new to me Greyhawk 33 ds. 2007.120 electrical does not work. Have checked recepticales and no 120 volts at any. Isuspect that either shore power switch(that I cannot find) or inverter is not working. I also cannot locate Inverter. Batteries go dead after 12 hrs running refrig and power fan. I am familiar with these MH systems an have owned Three other MH. Worked 30 years as Heavy equip/Tractor Tech. You won't be talking above my head, Any assistance would be appreciated.

Only elec on INVERTER will be the front television, since the inverter is only 400 watts. Physical location may be at the bottom of the wardrobe under a drawer If your not getting power with shore power then bad breaker or transfer switch.

Where is the transfer switch? Only switch I cannot identify is an on/off lever similar to master switch on Cat dozers.

Transfer switch is probably in the same area as the inverter, under the wardrobe, it is automatic, no lever. Do you get power to outlets when the geny is running?

Congratulations

X2, If you have a generator, I would look for the transfer switch.

If you can trace your shore power cord connection, follow it back. First device it will go to is your transfer switch, unless the previous owner has made modifications. One common modification is to remove the transfer switch, and install a couple heavy duty plugs. They you must manually connect the MH side either to the generator or to shore power feed.

The invertor is often very close to your circuit breaker panel. Often you will find it at the foot of the bed.
