Sorry to hear of this. Regarding service, you must have realistic expectations. Look at their service lot and all the other units there waiting to get worked on. The dealer has all your $$$ now, so they don't have much incentive to queue your service appointment ahead of others. Daily calls are a must.

COVID-19 is going to make this a much more frustrating experience as RV sales boom as an alternative to road-tripping with hotel/motel stays. And booking sites is going to be a much more challenging exercise. Again, find the strength to manage your expectations appropriately.

And when you are out of warranty, you will have more options on where to service your unit. Hopefully (like me) you'll get hooked up with a local mom & pop shop that cares about providing a quality experience for you.

hear here on the mom and pop shop. I'm fortunate that there is one just a few miles down the road and in all the years.....I've never been 'done wrong', treated like the last guy in line or in general felt like I was an intruder. Prices aren't the lowest, tchochke selection doesn't compare to CW, but they give great advice, hold seminars two or three times a year on those how to's that seem to get cloudy in the mind when you only do them once a year (winterizing!), and a service dept. that delivers on their promise...and on time. And if they don't have what you need....they get it. You can't get any of that at Amazon.

NOTE: This happens to me when I first open it back up for the season. The trick I learned is this...fill the p-traps back up with water before you start putting a ton of fluid back into the tanks. I dont care how much water you ran through at the end of the season, you will never ever get your tanks 100% clean. Also, anytime you flush the toilet, you are going to let some odor in as there is no p-trap on these. I normally try to put some deodorizing fluid back in the tank right after I flush them to try to keep any smells down.

I just walked into our rig and it smelled like sewer. Found someone had turned bath fan on high while all the windows were sealed due to it being 90'outside. It created enough suction to pull gas through one of the traps. Doesn't take much gas to get pretty stinky

True, that works for a rig that has some miles on it. But, the OP said this was a brand new rig, that has never camped. So, my question is, how did the tanks get so stinky that smelly gas backed out of the empty washer trap, if the rig has never been used? Those tanks should be clean from the factory.

I’m sorry I may have miscommunicated what I meant - we had it parked at our warehouse and did a shakedown for two days but still not enough use to cause the tanks to be over full or anything like that - sorry for the confusion - but the issue has been resolved so yay!
