Seneca Rear Splash Stop Brush Shield

Any feedback on how effective these are and how they hold-up would be appreciated. If you are a Seneca owner, would be very interested on how you you attached it to the rear fiberglass shell. Thanks!

Not sure exactly what you are speaking about, with "Seneca Rear Splash Stop Brush Shield" can you point to a link or an example?

Here's a example on Amazon. Not sure if I would go with the brush or rubber. Many comments on Amazon say the brush type is much less wind-resistant. There are other brush examples that appear to be better quality, but this link has a good picture.

Full with mud flap

We have a solid rubber mud flap mounted to the frame with 5 links of chain so that it can move - the toad still catches some stuff but it is better than without it

Les7h, did you modify a generic guard for the Seneca or did you go with a custom build?

Ended up with one of these. After some research, some owners of the brush type and the rubber flap type were disappointed when over time, their toad still ended up with a fair amount of chips and road rash. This Roadmaster option is not as easy, as it has to be attached in an additional step in the process. But it causes no loss in fuel economy, and nothing gets above the barrier.

Couple of pictures would be greatly appreciated. Very interested how it is attached to the frame. Would prefer to do that myself in-lieu of attaching it to fiberglass.

Full width mud flap

Mine was a receiver mounted flap from my 5th wheel days - just drill holes below the top frame and I used a piece of chain that I found in a scrap pile

If we put one of those things on the back of the Seneca... it would stop all of the rain from the road washing up on the toys on the trailer... How else can we get them cleaned off from the mud / dirt from the trip?

OK... yes we know that you might be towing something else, and don't want that stuff washing up -

We have the same type of rock guard as was finally purchased by the OP. Even with that we get some rock pits on fenders. The hazards of towing.. I thought the big mud flap for the Class A was what he was speaking of and I had never seen one of those for a Seneca. I think a Seneca sits a lot higher than the Class A's, like a Newmar or Winnebago, that use those brush mud flaps.
