This One Is All Ours - Finally

Got a call yesterday from RV One Tampa informing us that our FS just arrived! Finally....it was placed on order December 5. PDI is next Friday and we are going to stay at the Lazydays RV Campground (Tampa) until Tues to take time to get familiar and make sure everything works correctly. Plan a good shakedown drive on Sat down to the Sebring area and back...should be a lot of fun. Was stationed at MacDill AFB from '74 to '78 and haven't been back to Tampa since. I'm sure I won't recognize anything.

Looks great, but it definitely needs a bath.

Awesome. Congratulations. Please keep us updated.

Did you go see it? Did you have to pay in full to set up the PDI?

That thing's a beauty. Doesn't it just make you giddy like a little kid when you think about getting her on the road? Congratulations and Happy Trails!

Thank you! It will be a very long day but we are definitely pumped. Leaving Panama City at 3 AM to make our noon appointment with RV One. My first "live" drive will be a 3 PM drive thru Tampa to get to the RV Park. Nothing like "indoctrination under fire" Actually my biggest concern is being able to get hot water out of the Girard tankless water heater. Sure hope they put a Truma in it instead. I'll be sure to give an update tomorrow AM during coffee.

Congrats, you've got a lot to learn and some things to adjust to. We've owned ours now going on two years. Our dealer MH2GO, Jayco and Freightliner have been extremely good at working through any concerns we have had. We couldn't be happier. I'm used to commissioning larger sailboats for people, so I have not thought things that needed adjust, replaced or tweaked has been exceptional. Your Seneca is not a mass produced unit like an automobile, but more like a house that has a large number of different products assembled inside a unit, that was originally made to be a delivery truck and if you think of it like that, you can understand that it will be a much better home in a year once you've learned everything.

ENJOY THE RIDE!

How was your pick up at Albany RV? I was there several hours yesterday looking over a 2016 37 RB, different model than mine but trying to get a overall understanding of the unit. The place was very busy saw at least 5 units from a Huge Entregra to a small pop go through delivery, They said they are averaging 14-18 units a day 6 days a week. Best of wishes on you new Greyhawk, love to hear your feed back on the new Garmin and Truma.

Pick up went without a hitch. I actually camped overnight on the premises so I could evaluate everything and ask questions and/or report any issues. They were kind enough to take me to the airport to drop off my one-way rental AND stop at a grocery store to stock the RV. AMAZING customer service!!!! (I flew up the weekend before the PDI to get the paperwork done as well as to meet everyone...that could have made the difference.) Great experience...even my son (2yrs old) enjoyed himself...9 1/2 hour drive from NC...bless his little heart. A gentleman who goes by Sarge will probably walk you through the unit. Take notes, make a video/audio recording...he is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and patient too. Tim, the service manager, was attentive to any and all maintenance questions and/or issues. Speaking of issues...the only issue I had was with the audio/video system. After Tim and his crew looked they found a severed audio cable which they expertly handled.
I would definitely recommend a test drive though. Apparently my unit does need and alignment/wheel balancing due to notice vibration around 50-60 mph. (Jayco will cover the cost though) In hindsight, I could have had that done before heading home...9-1/2 hrs.
The Garmin system is impressive too. Overall extremely happy with our purchase. Best of luck to you (you are in great hands with RV One Albany!!!)

Certainly great to hear. Hope Daves pick up is going as well in Tampa as your did in Albany. Very reassuring after looking at the reviews online you start to wonder, however then you see the sheer volume they folks do you can understand some issues popping up.
