174bh roof

Any one walk on a 174bh roof, it doesn't have a ladder on the back so scared to go up there.

I was on our 195RB roof at least a couple times a year for washing/inspection and maintenance. I'm just a hair under 200 and never felt like there was anything to worry about.

These Jayco roofs are made to be walked on for maintenance. That said, watch for soft or weak areas caused by water getting in and ruining the wood. I am 155 and go up and clean/check/inspect a couple of times a year or more. There is a little give, maybe 1/2 inch or less as you move.

Just make sure your ladder is properly set up so it won't slip and it won't damage the edge. Walk slowly, I go barefoot, or crawl if that makes you feel safer. If you can, have someone hold the ladder so it won't slip as you get off.
