2009 G2 32BHDS Questions
I have found a 2009 32 BHDS at a good price.
It has been parked at a seasonal campground since it's purchase 2 years ago.
Other than needing a good cleaning it appears to be in pretty good shape minus a few cosmetic details.
I have read about the AC bolts and also the slide tape being possible issues.
I also read about possible motor issues on the slides.
Is there anything else I should double check again prior to purchase?
Any other suggestions on things to look at prior to purchase?

Hey Mattnday - welcome to the forum! If you get a chance, come on over to the new member area and introduce yourself.
Here is a link to a popular checklist. It is mostly for new, but works fine for used as well -- RV Checklist
In my opinion the biggest thing to check is the condition of the roof and if there have been any signs of leaks or water damage. Those can cause significant damage if left unattended to.
Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Besides inspecting the roof and seals around AC and vents, make sure you run all the systems to see if they're functioning properly: all drains and interior & exterior faucets, furnace, water pump, AC, fridge, fans, stove & oven, water heater, all int & ext lights and outlets, check under kitchen & bath cabinets for signs of leaks. Are there any cracks on the tire sidewalls? How does the awning look?

Roof is in great shape - i crawled up and inspected it when we looked a it the first time.
That was by far my biggest concern but with it being a 2009 I felt pretty good about it. It looked like brand new with no fading, discolorations, or apparent signs of discolorations.
Right now from what I am reading the slide motors might be the biggest cause for concern but since they are working..............

Since you mentioned a seasonal site and the TT hasn't been moved in over 2 years, has the TT been supported with the wheels/tires still in place? I asked this because in some cases folks with pernament seasonal sites will remove the wheels/tires and just support the TT frame with cinder blocks.., if not done correctly it could lead to problems.
Look for any signs that the TT hasn't had the axles under water do to flooding of the seasonal site.
Also check the condition underneath the TT, critters like to make homes in the underbelly of RV's that sit ideal for long periods of time.
If you do purchase the TT, confirm that all the owner's manuals are still with the TT.

Just wondering what the good price is? My new 2010 32BHDS cost me $21,350.00, this past summer I was quoted $22,500 for a 2012 32BHDS from RV Direct.
Also not all 32BHDS have the defective slide motors, Jayco did switch to a different slide motor before my TT was built in Dec 2009.

I've got an '09 32BHDS and don't have any of the issues you mentioned, as a matter of fact never even knew of them before reading your post. I wouldn't be concerned at all over the model year, but focus on the unit itself.
