We have the 2015 32BHDS and added the 2nd A/C unit. Also upgraded the main unit from 13.5K to 15K BTU. Just got back from camping at Inks Lake State Park in Texas Hill Country (temps over 100 degrees) and super comfortable...even two teenaged girls!
We usually turn off the front 2nd A/C unit in front bedroom when the sun goes down since it otherwise is cold as a fridge. But during the day when it's on we have a fan in the front room blowing into main unit to move that cold air. Also have a couple of smaller fans keeping the air flowing back to the bunkroom since it tends to be the warmest. Cannot have too many fans and two A/C units ARE A MUST on the larger trailers.
NOTE: On the main unit A/C thermostat we always keep fan turned ON and not AUTO to prevent freezeup. Thermostat is set to just under 80 degrees (but who knows how accurate that thing is). Plenty comfortable!
