2017 Whitehawk 25BHS - Mind the front slide? vs Bullet 243 BHS

I am about to purchase the WhiteHawk 2017 25BHS. Love the extra space we get by the kitchen sliding out on the front side, but worried about that amount of space under the awning.

1. Do you mind the lost space on the deck under the canopy?
2. Any regrets, or things you love about this trailer?

I am looking at this vs a Bullet 242 BHS.

We had a similar situation with our WH and didn't notice the lost space. However we did notice that the awning chafed, especially if it was tilted at all, on the corners of the slide and the top of the door so something to keep an eye on.
