2018 Hummingbird 17RK Bottom edge separation

Just finished a three month snowbird trip and was giving my Bird a bath when I saw where the side has raised over the aluminum trim and come back down. It has cut the fiberglass in three places and the caulk has broken between the damaged places. There is about 3/8th of an inch of glass outside of the black trim. I have already made initial contact with the dealer who is showing the pictures to their techs. Hopefully I will know more tomorrow.

The Bird is scheduled to go to the dealer on 4/22 to start the process. Both the dealer and Jayco have been provided photos, but.....

Hopefully you get quick and satisfactory resolution and this doesn't drag on....kind of a bad time of the year to be without a trailer for an extended period of time......

Got the Bird back from the dealer today. All repairs satisfactorily done and reasonably expeditiously. While the cause of the failure hasn't been determined and the body shop that did the work doesn't know or willing to hazard a guess.

Fretz RV in Souderton, PA was a pleasure to work with and I am happy to pass on a recommendation for a good service department.
