I, too, would endeavor not to use a WDH if I had a full size pickup truck versus a midsize. One less thing to fuss with.

I believe that would depend on the size (total length & height) and the weight of the unit no?

67% ratio of 174BH GVWR to Tacoma GVWR w/tow package led us to buy the Blue Ox TrackPro BXW0650 from etrailer. Should be a straight forward install, arrives Tuesday.

I towed my 174BH all summer without a WD hitch with my 2019 Tacoma no problems. I did use a friction sway bar setup when i knew id be on highway. I didn't get a ton of sag even when i towed with full tank of water.

Question

I did some research and found that not all WDH are compatible with 174BH because it has 3'' frame tall. So could anyone recommend WDH with sway control that can be installed on 3-3 1/2 inch frames?

Andersen would be perfect for that application.

Husky manual said that:

This product only fits trailer frames that are 4”, 5”, 6”, 7” & 8” tall.
