212QBW Toilet splash

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, but I noticed it on our last trip. We have a 2017 JayFlight 212QBW and we haven't been out a lot, but one night I noticed water on the floor in the bathroom, between the toilet and the sink. I grabbed my flashlight and checked all around the sink, and around the toilet. I couldn't pin down *where* the water was coming from. Then I started to do some experimenting.. With the toilet seat and cover both down, if you do a full flush (pedal all the way down) the water will swirl up under the seat and out onto the floor! It's easily avoided by just leaving the seat and cover up when you flush, but I found it a bit odd that you can't flush with them down and have water running out. Has this happened to anyone else?

No, I haven't. Are you on city water and if so, Are you using it water pressure regulator?

Yes, we were on city water and yes, I have a pressure regulator on the hose. I just have to be careful and don't flush with the lids down.

We have the same rig and the only time we’ve had a little “splash over“ was the first flush after hooking up to city water. It seems the initial “pent-up” pressure is a little stronger. After that, it’s normal with lid up or down. I don’t see how the lid or seat would make a difference unless they are deformed somehow and interfering with the flow. The jet of water follows the molded ridge on the bowl and shouldn’t escape. Is your regulator adjusted right? Not over 40-45 psi?
