2nd Battery connection??

I was taking out the propane tanks to refill for the first time on our new to us 2016 324BHTS and noticed these wires tied up.
Is this a 2nd battery connection? If so is there anything special I need to do if I want to use it?

Thanks!

More than likely another option not currently installed.

Can you wire in another battery parallel 12V or series 6V alongside the first one?

Those wires are too small to be for a second battery. My guess is that they were for some type of accessory that is not longer there. I'd definitely make sure they are not actively powered by testing them with a volt meter.

Looks like the Sway Command was an option on that year/model, and I believe that was recalled and removed from most Jayco models. I wonder if this unit either was prewired but not installed, or had it removed due to the recall.

Good advice to check to make sure they don't have voltage, I'd personally tape off the connections as well just to protect them if nothing else.
