50 Amp Service Done A/C Only Works on 20 Amp

I have the Jay Flight 32BHS and it came with the 50 Amp service for if I want to add an additional A/C unit down the road. When I went camping for the first time I plugged into the 50 Amp power with the giant cable and everything powered great EXCEPT the A/C did not come one. I checked the fuse box and all looked good. I knew it worked with my 20 Amp generator so at the camp grounds I changed the plug to the 20 Amp with my adapter and the A/C unit fired right up. Any thoughts on why this could be? I just bought it so maybe I take it back to the dealer?

Thanks in advance for your time and help. I am brand new to the camper trailer game.

Park power pedestal problems. If it gets power with a 20 amp adapter everything is good from the plug back to the a/c.
