Ac short cycling

Air seems to be short cycling. I turn it down cold at night. And low fan. Compressor kicks off and back on about 10 seconds later. I have checked the ducts and opened them up from the crappy tape job from the factory. Any thoughts.

Thanks
Chris

If this was a car I would suggest a leak of coolant that causes it to run until a low coolant safety switch turns it off the compressor. Once coolant settles the switch runs the compressor until the low coolant cuts it off again.
If this is the problem you will need an HVAC person to test and fix it. Although shaped differently it works much like a window AC. You may not need a RV repair person if you can find a company that will work on it.

Last thought, does your cold air blow directly on the thermostat??

It is not blowing on thermostat. It was about 70 out and unit was set to 67. Maybe it is too low.
