Anderson WD hitch

To all those who use Anderson hitches, have any upgraded to the new ball and new triangle plate. Is so what are your experiences? Also what is your receiver hitch height?
Thanks in Advance.

I have the new plate and ball mount on my work bench. I have yet to install it. My original has been working fine. However, I will probably install it before this years towing season.

My level hitch height is 28.5" for use with my Baja edition trailer.

I bought our Andersen WDH in late 2017 when I bought the trailer, so it has the newer triangle plate design (photo). My understanding is the updated ball mount rotates more easily in the housing so that you don't gave to get perfectly lined up to hitch? I’ve been very happy with mine, so probably will not upgrade and save the $100. Sorry, I don’t have my hitch height numbers handy and the TT is in storage.
