Awning LED light strip

Does the awning need to be out for this light to work, or will you still be able to use it when the awning is rolled up?

I have used mine when the awning was rolled up. So, Yes, it still works.

All that I have seen are mounted under the awning mount rail, and are visible with the awning rolled up.

This is how mine is set up from Jayco. It works with the awning open or closed.

I just roll mine out a few inches at times when I want light but not have the awning all the way out. By rolling it out just a little bit throws more light.

Same here. I changed out the failed OE LED strip though.

I put one of these on my LED's under my awning last weekend. Took about 45 minutes. WORKS GREAT.
Can dim my lights down to 10%.
Cost 5.95
