Awning speaker? How are they?

Looks like the awning speakers are here to stay, i have only read about problems with them.
For those that have the new awning mounted speakers, how are they?

Sound is similar to a AM radio transmission on mine. Honestly, I'd rather not have them, as you have to set the fade every time you power off the Furion unit so what's playing inside doesn't play outside.

When we want music outside, I power up the Sirius XM boom box.

The outside speakers sound like garbage on my TT. Occasionally we listen to a baseball game on AM with them. We usually drag along a powered Bluetooth speaker for better sound.

The best thing about them, and maybe the only best thing, is there are two less holes cut into the side of the trailer. That is a good thing, in my book.

However, the sound quality is pretty bad.

It's probably best to bring an external radio/CD player that's capable of Bluetooth operation.

When customers are dissapointed in a new change, Doesn't sound like a wise move on Jayco's part.

Podcasts and such are ok, other than that it's like listening to music through a tin can. I've read about people upgrading to better speakers but I'll just stick to Bluetooth speakers.
