Welcome to the forum.
You shouldn't let your battery get that low when boondocking, it's bad for the battery. You'll need solar or a generator to charge the battery from time-to-time, depending on the power you pull from the battery.
It's possible the battery in the trailer when you bought it is already bad and needs to be replaced. You should have it tested and find out.
When storing, you can remove a battery cable (the negative one, preferably) to eliminate ALL draws on the battery. Otherwise, a fully charged, good battery will be dead within a week.
