Black Water Drain

I have a 2018 Jayco White Hawk, 2nd time using it pulled handle on black water drain and no drain. We have the glacier package so I can't see the actual valve.

Has anyone had issues with the rod coming off the valve pull shaft or do you know how they are hooked together?

Welcome to the forum.

I had the rod between the handle and valve disconnect a couple of years ago. I opened up the insulation just enough to see the problem - the threads on the rod had somehow become unscrewed.

I was able to position the pieces and then rotate the handle to screw them back together. Hopefully your fix will be just as easy.

Yes if the handle is turned to much (or forgotten to assembly proper at the mfg.) it will disconnect from the valve. You have to open the underbelly by the valve (usual a boot has to be removed).
