brakes/axles

Hello collective.

Forgive me for not wanting to go crawl under the trailer in the snow to research this :-) I'm sure someone will know right off the bat.

My trailer is an 19RD but has 2 axles. Regarding the trailer brakes, are those usually installed on both axles or only on one? I'm doing some "pre-planning" on maintenance and just trying to figure what level of neck pain I'm looking at.

TIA

D

Every trailer I have ever seen has brakes on all wheels!

Probably both.
May be either manual or auto-adjusting if you bought used.

You've got brakes on both axles. We have a 2012, and I'm going to pull the drums in the spring to inspect them. I'm almost certain ours has the self-adjusting brakes. Yours may also.

Thanks. That's what I plan to do too, as well as tighten up any wiring.
