Buzzing sound coming from fuse box area

Hello everyone
New guy here and already have question. I start hearing a buzzing sound coming from fuse box area (but I think it's not actual fuse but something behind the box maybe) It goes away once I turn on a light in the trailer (no matter which light) Video of the sound attached. Where should I start looking for the problem?

BTW my trailer is a 2011 Starcraft Autumn Ridge. They told me Jayco is where I have to post my question.

Could be the converter cooling fan going bad.

Is there are a way to check it? Why it will stop if I turn on a light?

Like Grumpy said, or, you might need to clean out some dust and tighten connections. The converter fans are noticeable. I thought my 195RB had a problem when I first heard it. Why does it go away when you turn on lights? An electronics engineer could answer that (I am not) but I think voltage regulators dump come excess current to ground when it is not needed (like all loads are off).

could be a gift from a critter. from time to time I blow the cobs out of anything that may have a circuit board in it. Not too long ago I noticed some brown goo coming from the inside of a tower computer/server. Cracked it open and found two mouse breeding nests.

Hey Kris,

My Octane travel trailer is doing the same thing now too. Did you ever figure it out what was causing this hissing / buzzing sound?

Did you ever figure it out? I’m having the same issue. Turning a light on or off stops the noise temporary.

Maybe it is a noise from the cooling fan of the converter?

Our 2009 29L started doing that the 3rd year we owned it. I looked ALL through it multiple times to find the problem...never did. Like you, when we turned on a light, it would stop buzzing. We camped for the last 10 years with the range hood vent light always on LOL!

Google something like "RV converter noisy without load" and you'll find that this can be a fairly common issue. Here are just two links that I found. Sounds like either Ignore it, Apply a light load, or replacement.
