Camco Propane Tank Cover

Hi all, wondering if anyone has had this issue. Just bought a camco propane tank cover and it won’t fit on my 212qbw as it interferes with the brackets for the WD bars. Has anyone had this issue? I am thinking about cutting out part of the cover to fit around he brackets but not sure if that will defeat the purpose?

I had a similar problem with my 2016 Jayfeather7 20rl. Between the wdh brackets, battery box and tongue frame, the tank cover wouldn’t fit. So I cut it where I had to in order to make it fit. I mean, we’re trying to protect from debris kicked up from the tv and some weather protection, so I don’t see how cutting the cover will affect those functions. Anyway, that’s what I did.

Same here, mine hit right on top of my brackets. I didn’t even notch it, I just lift up the side I’m working on to pull the pins

I have the 2018 212QBW and I have a WD hitch, but mine doesn't hit. May be the height setting of your brackets? Mine don't go high enough to hit and it looks like if they did they would not hit the cover.

Different style, my WD brackets are twice that wide where they clamp around the entire frame.

An SLX212 QBW here too. My tank cover sits just in front of my backets, which are for an Andersen WDH.

The Curt hitch I use has the option of long or short WD bars. I think the long bars would clear without cutting anything, but a new cover is tank cheaper than new bars, so I cut the cover.
