Converter fan question...

our converter fan runs sometimes for a few seconds then stops and then starts up again. Not sure if this is normal? Wouldn't it run till it's cool then shut down? Not sure if I need to have this looked at, thanks!

It's normal. It is a thermostatically controlled fan. The more DC you are using the more it runs. Ambient temp will also impact it.
