Dometic Hot Water Tank Question

Gooday all,

New Jay Flight 34RLOK owner; so far I'm impressed.

Trailer is parked and used on my property and for the moment using 12v/LP and running a 2800W Generator occasionally for battery charging and other 120v needs.

Electrical service is being installed (50 A/240v connection).

My issue; I'm noticing the Hot Water LP burner is cycling on and off quite often and for short duration. I would say every 4-5 minutes for 8-10 seconds. Is this anyone else's experience?

Water is good (hot), and I've inspected everything (no leaks, no issues in the burner area such as obstructions etc). My intent is to run it off of electricity once it's hooked up shortly but in the meantime, does this seem like a normal operation (it doesn't to me).
