I would go for the warranty for sure...
For tires to fail at 800 miles (Unknown time) is well rather odd.

How old are the tires? There are countless threads on the net about Chinese tire issues. -Lee

Tire Warranty should take care of that, they should not be splitting and cracking already. Odd that one of them was made in 07 though, 3yrs old when you bought the trailer! -Lee

I thought Jayco's only came w/ Goodyear's on them. How did the Duro's get on it?

Good to hear Jayco is taking care of you. If they are ST tires, There may not be any that are made in USA now. For a brief time Goodyear Marathons were being made in the US again but now I understand they will be made in China again, if they are not already. The ones on my TT are China Marathons of 08 vintage. -Lee

It's getting bad went just about everything you touch these day is made in a foreign country... :lizard:
Well if the manufacture of tire is good typical they will stand behind there product with a good long warranty...
Glad to see Jayco step up to the plate...

I'm going to an LT tire in a month or two. Tired of hearing about all of the ST tire failures. Getting new tires and wheels because I'm going from a 15" wheel to a 16" size. Right now I have a set of Goodyear Marathons.

The sidewalls on the tires on ours looked like something out of an old junk yard on the dealers lot. The dealer agreed and they were replaced by Jayco before we completed the paperwork. Never seen anything like that on a new unit.

Same issue with ours already had one replaced now going to get the other replaced. For the hassle I think Jayco should just put on better tires from the factory. The trailer is less than two years old and the sidewalls are cracked and they have significant wear.

My Jayco also came with Duros on it, and they also cracked/dry rotted (they are covered when not towing) in short order. Jayco replaced them for me under warranty.
