Flickering Lights

The inside lights in our 2018 Jayco 29RLDS are flickering on the left side of the camper. Suggestions?

Probably a bad connection somewhere. If you can, go to the switch that controls those lights. Or it may be a bad connection at the converter box to the line going out to that string. Always possibility it is the fuse going bad, corrosion, etc. Or just a loose connection.

Start at the box, use your multi tester and eyes for sparks, corrosion, loose connections, bad crimp connection.

Excellent advice.

Since all the lights on the left side are involved, find any common source(s) for the power in that particular circuit such as a switch, a fuse, or a common connection in the fuse panel. Check all these connections. Leave the lights on and manipulate the wires involved to see if you can make them flicker more or less when you move them around or slightly pull on them. Most RV lighting is 12VDC so you won't get a shock. Just stay well away from the 120 VAC wiring and breakers.

Welcome aboard!

If all the left side lights are flickering, my first thought is a bad common ground. For some crazy reason, ground wires tend to be the week link in most 12v wiring. The ground wires are daisy chained and a single (usually) wire will go through a hole in the floor and attach to the chassis. That would be my starting point if it is easy to access (enclosed underbelly??).

Good point but it would need to be a ground wire common only to the lights that are flickering, otherwise all the lights would flicker.

Both power and ground connections should be checked in the circuit involved.
