fresh water / city water

I hope this is not repeated I can't find my original post!

Hooked up our NEW TT and everything is working great!
I have our city water hooked up but for some reason it's filling my fresh water tank slowly! Watched a couple you tubes and the recommendation / fix was to turn off the city water turn on the pump for ten minutes with the hot water running for about ten minutes and that should correct the valve issue!
Anyone else ever have that happen? Is this the fix? Would appreciate you input!

thanks
Rick

I think you may find some help by searching for fresh tank filling and try variations of that phrase. It sounds like the check valve on the pump may be bad and allowing water to by-pass but there are other problems some have found. And if you have not tried the fix you found try it and see if that corrects it.

It seems strange that the valve would go on a new unit but I guess stranger things happen.
