Front only trailer cover?

Hey all...

Has anyone heard of a front only cover for a trailer? I have covered storage so don’t need to fully cover the trailer. That said, the front still gets several hours of sun each day and I don’t want a two toned trailer. I wanted to see if anyone had any leads before tracking down someone locally to make one for me.

Thanks!

I see several options.

If the trailer fits completely under your storage, get a sun screen that covers the end. I have seen them for decks. Some slide, some roll up.

Price out a front cover from a local canvas shop.

Compare that price to buying a cover. Look at covers that are much shorter than what you need. Cut the shorter cover in half and finish the cut edge. Use one half until it falls apart, then pull the other half out and use that.

Never heard of a front only cover. My first thought is how to keep it on, so it does not slide off, under its own weight, or fist slight breeze?

Is this a storage yard you have access to? Or is this your own "shed"?

The definitely sell those overseas. People use them to keep the bugs off, as they are driving. I was never sure how they were attached.

If I had a Lance with that giant front window, I would want one too.....

I have seen something for 5th wheels in the US, that does what you are looking for. They are called Bugg Banner. You might try contacting them and see if they have any travel trailer options.

Thanks all!

The bug banner wouldn’t quite work. So far, I like the idea of cutting a small one in half the best.

Thanks again for the ideas!

Why can't you just use the correct sized tarp and a few bungie cords?
