Gray water tanks - how to utilize both tanks

I have a 2018 Jayco 34rsbs. I believe there are two gray water tanks but I seem to only be filling one of the tanks. The overflow comes into the shower?

In my experience gray tanks don't overflow from one to another, they fill from different drains. 1 tank might be kitchen only & the other might be bathroom only. Is there a washer/dryer hookup because that might be what the second tank is for. And yes, when your tank is full it will overflow into the lowest point which is your shower drain.

On our Eagle TT one grey tank seemed to be just for the outdoor kitchen.

On out 24RKS the bathroom shower/sink go to one grey tank and the kitchen sink goes to the other grey tank.

I have three gray water tanks. One is kitchen, Second is bathroom sink and shower, third is for Washer. I do as well wish there was a way to overflow into all three. Just thinking out loud maybe just open all three dump valves with the flow stopper shut may just work.

Get one of these on the outlet and you can equalize all the grey tanks without making a mess.

I don't have multiple grey tanks so I really don't have a dog in the fight, but would you have to know the level of each grey tank in relation to the level of the shower drain first. If the other grey tanks are higher than the shower drain would it not still back up into the shower from the lowest grey tank?

Have you tried it? Does it work for overflow from tank to tank for using all gray tanks?

I believe an earlier post about a month or so ago has one grey for washer and dryer hook up, if you didn't get the washer option then the one tank remains empty. Best to check w dealer, then dbl check w Jayco.

I have a 2016 34RSBS and had the same questions. I talked to Jayco customer service and they confirmed that the front tank is for a washer drain. They had sent me a schematic and I have attached for your information.

I have used them for years. I only have 2 tanks draining from the same common pipe so this valve lets them equalize.

There are many configurations on grey tanks. I have a washer hook up but don't use it. I have no clue which grey tank it would go into but I don't have but 2 grey tanks.

I have the same camper only it's a 2017. One gray water tank is for the kitchen and shower. The other one is for the washer (that I'll never have). I wish there was a way to make them overflow. Doesn't take long to fill the one tank!!
