Hitch and weight distribution question

So I recently bought another camper do I take my weight distribution and swaybar hook ups off my old camper and put it on the new one? I don’t see myself buying a brand new set up. Thank you!

Is it compatible with your new camper (weight cat., clamps on the tongue framing, etc)? Some problems occur with swing away hitches where the mounting location of the WDH lands at the hinge. Otherwise, yes, just swap it over.

Does this look compatible?

Do you happen to know what brand/model your current hitch is? Your current hitch may or may not be compatible with the underslung coupler on your new trailer without modification. You may need to check with your hitch manufacturer.

That is what’s on the hitch then I have the two distribution bars as well. That is the set up that I have for the 2013 X 23B and I’m buying the 2018 25BH Jayco as well.

Yes, I can see it. That 54970 appears to be the model number for the shank itself. What you will need to find out is if it, in combination with your trailer frame brackets, etc. will work with your underslung coupler on the 25BH. I unfortunately don't know for sure.

I would probably call Reese directly, or even a company like eTrailer to ask.
