I need some guidence

I have just enough skill to hurt myself so I need to ask a question.
I have Eagle 306RKDS and I want to install a 12v female cigarette receptacle near the dinner table and close to the fuse box. I need it for a portable 12v cooler, to support a marginal Norcold in the AZ heat.

My question is; can I use a open fuse slot in 12v area of the fuse box. I see 4 unused slots and I would like to use one but I am not sure if I would do something wrong not knowing what they were originally intended for. Any input on how to do it would be welcome.

Thanks
Chuck

I did exactly that.

If your ur frig is struggling in the heat, many people have add 1 or 2 12 volt fans in the refrigerator access compartment to draw the heat up and out.

I added 2 small 12 volt fans inside my frig, that attach to the coils. Really moves a lot of air.

Re asking question

I would like to use one of the open 12 volt locations in the fuse panel. I want to wire it to a 12 volt cigarette receptacle so I can plug in a 12 volt portable refrigerator. Any suggestions welcome
Also does anyone know where I find a fuse panel wiring diagram?
Thanks again
Chuck

Check the wattage/amps required by the cooler. Make sure your 12v outlet can support that load. Get a fuse and wire that match the max load of the outlet.

Note that the colors on the 12v outlet may differ from the trailer. The outlet may have red (+) and black (-), but your trailer likely has black(+) and white (-). Match + to+, and - to - and you should be all set.
