I have an iphone app called Rv Companion. It has a leveler on it that tells you about how many inches of blocking to add under tires to make the trailer level. Have yet to try it but if it reduces the amount of trial and error on the blocking process, it would be great.

I downloaded this after you mentioned it and it worked great. It was close before calibration, but bang on after (you just have to find a known flat surface to calibrate). It told me I was 1 inch down on the right side, but I wondered if that might change after I put the slideout out. It brought it down to .5 inches and I said "close enough."
Thanks for the tip. The level portion is included in the free app.

I use an app Bubble 2.0.1 by Ben Zibble on my Android Phone and it's great. Spot on(can be calibrated if need be) any side of phone can be used for level or laid flat. Has voice that reads off readings to you. Will show numeric value of angle, show angle as percentage, show tenth of a degree, show pitch, show inches of rise per foot, can change color scheme, you can lock angle on screen, will beep when level, also blink a light(if on phone)when level and it's FREE! I love it glad I found it, use it all the time. Check it out if you have an Android phone. I have no affiliation with them whatsoever FYI. I also have an Otterbox on mine and it does not affect the readings or use. Camp ON

I tried looking for the RV Companion on my Droid, but didn't get any hits in the marketplace for it.

Wow, the leveler sure works great! I could have used it a few days back. I keep forgetting that the smartphones can do so much! Thanks for the suggestion Grantsoo... helpful thread!
