IRV DVD Player jammed?

Recently purchased a 2018 Jayco 29BHDB. Daughter decided to put a DVD in even though there was one already in DVD player. DVD was taken out but now DVD player acts as though there is a DVD inserted and sometimes won't even register the "DVD" input on the IRV panel. I attempt to insert a DVD and again, it acts as though a DVD is already inserted and won't let me load a DVD. We attempted "Factory Setup" according to manual but it didn't do anything. Any help is appreciated.

Can all 12 volt power be removed for 15 minutes or more? Hopefully it will lose all settings and reset.

10-4 on powering it down for it can't hurt. I ruined a cd player ince by doing that. I could never get both out.

That should work. Most motorhomes we've had were wired so that the coach batteries powered the dash radio and any others installed. Not the chassis battery as one might think.

Thank you sir. I appreciate it. That would make sense. The screen never shuts off, even when the trailer is unplugged and the "power" to the DVD player is turned off.
