Got no fuse - same problem
I did the same thing when I got home... BUT, there's no fuse between the battery positive (black wire goes straight from the battery into the x17z along with the other wires) no 12v power hitting the power center inside the RV) I've traced the wire back inside the RV as best I could, but no fuse found. The electric life works fine when on shore power (sorry, my boating habit) as does all lights etc. and there's power to the 12v fuses, but unplugged from the 120v supply I get nothing. Battery is good. I'm pulling my hair out on this one... it's a 2016 x17z which I just purchased second hand. There's a emergency brake "pull unit" and a "wireless brake controller" in the mix and I haven't been able to get the brake controller to sync up with the remote unit in my truck either (2007 Tahoe 4x4)... that's the fun of RV'ing, but I'm loathed to give up and head to a service center. We're long hauling from Atlanta to Utah late July... so it's getting urgent... anyone know what might be the issue?

It's usually a 30a inline fuse. Check continuity is all I can offer. I have even seen bad contacts in the fuse holder itself.

Continuity is checked with an ohm meter, with all power OFF on the circuit. It tells you is there's an open in the circuit, like a blown fuse, or broken wire. There may be a main fuse IN the converter, and like Norty said, it'll be a 30 amp. Also make sure the battery ground has a good connection to the frame. Google RV 12 volt system, and the generic schematics that pop up will give you a general idea how they're wired.

I had a heck of a time finding mine, it was inside the trailer about an inch inside where they drilled the hole for the main electrical cord at the front.I had to basically unscrew the plywood by the seat cushion. Next time the trailer goes in I'm going to make them relocate it to the underside of the trailer . Not sure who the Einstein was who thought it was a good idea to put it there.

Brilliant, thanks Ronco.
Found the little bugger, on a green wire tucked away in a birds nest of wires behind a piece of wood a few inches inside the RV... who the hell wires these things?... I'm a blue water sailor having done thousands of miles in open ocean... wiring has to be extremely tight and beautifully organized. Now I'm struggling to hold off my OCD on rewiring the whole RV.

You may want to hold off on that re-wiring thought.
