Jayco Jay Flight 23RB

Hi. New to the forum and new to RVing.

I have a new Jayco Jay Flight 23RB arriving within a few weeks. I am a professional photographer and I will use it to travel around the west making photos for ~8 months out of the year. I am making some changes to the new unit to suit my needs, including the removal of the dinette. In its place I'm putting a desk, from which I will edit photos and video.

I am now looking into how I power items on my desk, given there is no outlet (along either of those walls). I would like to run some electrical raceway in the corner going up towards the AV shelf/bay above the standard stereo.

This is my question:

What is in the bay to the right of the stereo? Is there easy access to the stereo and that bay next to the stereo from the AV shelf/bay above it? I would want to drill a hole through both and run a cord from the outlet there to a power strip attached under the desk.

AND, alternatively, I have some LED displays I would like to add (i.e. solar charge controller, low battery alarm, etc.). Without knowing what's behind that black space next to the radio I'm wondering if that is even possible.

Thank you very much for your assistance. I look forward to contributing.

i just bought a 23RB. i was told that you can easily get to the iRV system simply by removing the four screws and it slips right out. There isn't anything on the side of it.

If that's the case then I should have no problem doing what I want to do. Thanks!

Congratulations! on the new TT, and welcome to The Forum. Keep in mind, the radio runs off 12V power, but you may find 120V in the entertainment center to power the television. Good luck with your project!
