Mattress ideas ? Jayflight SLX 154bh

Family of 4 new to the camping world. We just got a Jayflight SLX 154bh. Our boys are sleeping on the bunks and my wife and I will be sleeping on the dinette / bed. Does anyone know a mattress they would recommend and how do you store the mattress / sheets during the day?

You could do an air mattress. You would have to inflate it every evening and deflate in the morning to store it and the sheets.

Depending on the size of dinette bed you could possibly get like a 2 inch topper and roll it up and store it under dinette seat? If not I would semi fold the topper and store it on one of the bunk until time to make the bed. I have a twin size 3 inch latex topper that you can fold in half and roll up like a fat log

You might look at a 6 inch memory foam mattress. roll it up in a big tube and keep it on one of the bunks if the dimensions work. I found zinus was good for me on a short queen in 10 inch but you would never roll that puppy up.

Hi Jaycobro,

Did you get any good solution? And do you know the dimension of the dinette bed?

Youtube videos say it converts to queen bed, but it doesn’t look like queen bed more likely full XL.

I also got the same model, but not delivered yet..Before delivery I’d like to prepare

Yes! Awesome solution. We got a memory mattress topper, “full extra long” 3” thick. It works perfectly.
