Mice problem

We have a 2017 jayflight six 212qbw. We have a problem with mice getting in, only happened once before. They are getting in thru the fabric on the underside. I used steel wool before, but wonder if anyone knows of a tape that will stick to it . Thanks, Jim.

Use a spray adhesive, "Sta-Put" brand is the best I've used. Just spray both the surface and what you're adhering to it, wait about 30 seconds, then stick them together and you're good.

When you say "fabric on the underside" are you referring to an "enclosed underbelly"?

For prevention, I have rodent bait traps near the parking spot and also I keep Irish Spring soap chunks in panty hose at all the jacks, hitch, wheels, etc.

Thanks, that sounds like a good solution.

It is a black fabric that I think covers what insulation there is under the trailer.

Lots of posts on mice available in the search bar above. I got aluminum screen wire and pushed strips into every opening and then foamed them in place. Then went inside and opened cabinets finding wire, water, sewer, etc. holes that I could stuff and caulk from above. Use stainless, aluminum or brass scrubbies, etc. and foam or caulk them to prevent coming in. Then I added T shaped plastic pipe with mouse bait to "feed" them prior to getting inside. See Eaton 902R bait station for example.

Immensely important to prevent odors from food, grease, etc. attracting them so a great cleanup in the fall is important.
