New to Jayco - Starcraft Launch 20 BHS

This is my first time owning a Jayco. My last two TTs were a 2017 Forest River Salem and a 2011 Heartland Trailrunner - also had a brief time with a 1997 Northstar TC1000 slide in truck camper...but my first Jayco.

Will be picking it up tomorrow. It is a left over 2019 Starcraft Launch 20 BHS.

We selected this one for several reasons. We like the shorter length for pulling and parking - but aren't sure yet how we'll do the slide out.

I like the Tuff-Shell aluminum body construction and smooth sides. The whole rig seems better built and tighter than my Salem. I got a little discount on it due to it being a hold over - but has same warranty once we take ownership.

It needs some upgrades - more power outlets around the kitchen, fantastic fan, vent cover, larger grab handle/rail, and various racks and shelf options.

I'm really impressed with the front bunk design and side door. I've never seen this before.

The Salem was a 27DBUD. Overall was a nice camper with tons of upgrades for the price. But, overall it wasn't the best built. Doors didn't fit, siding wasn't even, screws backing out, rust in the suspension, and more. It always made me nervous the slideout wasn't going to come back and other issues. Bought it new. The immediate difference between that and this unit is pretty obvious. I don't know much about Jayco, but the trim and fit is simply better everywhere I look.

Is this just my imagination?

Anyway, happy to join another RV family!
