primary and secondary FW tank questions

The concept of a primary and secondary freshwater tank is new to me and it appears my new 28BHBE is equipped that way. The specs on the TT say it has two 38 gal FW tanks.

1. With this configuration, are there two tank level indicators? (TT is in storage
so I can't go look right away).
2. Does the primary fill then overflow into the secondary? If so, I'm assuming
only the secondary has an overflow to the outside.
3. Is the sanitation process any different that having one tank?

Great questions. I'd be interested to know as well as the trailer I'm buying is like this.

On my 33RLDS they only have one set of sensors. The 2 tanks are connected together low and since water finds its level, no need for 2 sets of sensors.

I have a different model trailer, but I would imagine that they mostly work the same. Mine has 2 40 gallon tanks. I know it does have 2 low point drains and it only has 1 tank level indicator. I have only ever placed water into the fresh water tanks once, so I am not entirely familiar with their operation. I should learn more here soon when I sanitize them to start the season, but I too am interested in how they function. Does one overflow to the other or do they fill together to a degree?

2 FW Tanks

My rig has two 45 gal. FW tanks. They are connected near the bottom of each, so they fill together (and it takes a loooong time)! There's only one tank sensor, but I have no idea which tank it's in. Each tank has its own overflow tube and its own drain - and it takes even longer to drain them than it does to fill them! I've found that it speeds up the draining process if I turn on the pump and the bathroom lavatory faucet. The advantage of doing that when I sanitize is it also sanitizes the water lines in the process. Of course, I then have to dump the bathroom grey tank. But that's OK, because the bleach mixture also cleans out that tank and helps keep the sensors working.
